Nathaniel Adawonu was born in Togo West Africa but he and his wife Cherita and their three children currently reside in Florida. Through his many years of experience as a church planter, pastor and national church leader in West Africa, Nathaniel has developed a passion for starting and strengthening National, gospel-centered, church planting movements especially among Muslims. Nathaniel has spent a part of his life in West Africa, Europe, and currently the U.S. This has helped him gain tremendous insights and experience in foreign missions as well as indigenous missions, combined with his heart for the lost and familiarity with different cultures. This has uniquely equipped him for effective leadership in the West African church today.
Nathaniel is a graduate of Hope Institute of Theology, Accra Ghana where he received a diploma in Christian leadership and pastoral ministry. He also studied at school of Missions in Denver, Colorado and received his BA in Missions as well as Trinity College in New Port Richey, Florida. Nathaniel is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando, Florida. He was ordained by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Togo/Ghana. He has served in various mission organizations and ministries before founding New Harvest Missions International in 1993.
